horray for preschool

 

 

Well, that time is finally here. Noah starts preschool in a week. I am so incredibly excited for him and he is beyond excited. He is just growing up so fast. We signed him up for swimming and of course he asks everyday when he is going to go swimming. It is amazing how fast time flies when you are having fun! Luckily I still have my sweet little Nora. trying to savor all of the moments with her. I am a very lucky girl. xo

been awhile....again.

Not doing so good with this whole blog thing. In the beginning I wanted to try to do this a few times a week. I am starting to believe that my life is just kinda boring!  Ive made goals to try and take pictures everyday! They don't necessarily have to be of the kiddos, but of something...anything! So, this is my goal! Going to need some ideas though. First step, GET OUT OF THE HOUSE! Thankfully the weather around here is incredible. It has gone from obscenely hot to gorgeous. Fall is for sure in the air and that makes me super happy. Saw a girl at hobby lobby yesterday with a cart full of pumpkins, hay, fall leaves and lots of other fall goodies. I was a bit jealous of what her house would look like! I am so ready to start decorating for my favorite time of year! Yesterday, Jason was home because he has had nasty nasty allergies. After a trip to the Dr and some rest, we got the backyard cleaned up and ready for nice weather. While cleaning everything up, we got some motivation to save up some extra money to re do the landscaping in the front and back yard. My next big purchase though will be new front doors. I want gorgeous solid wood front doors with windows so that I can see the outside world from  the inside of my house. The foyer part of my house is just so dull and dark. I'm not loving it. SO, hopefully within the next few months, we can get some things rolling with making the house look exactly how we want it! I love projects and this will be lots of fun! I cannot wait to come home from work or wherever and walk into my house and not be able to think of anywhere else I would rather be. Hope everyone has a beautiful day! xo

Good morning!

Starting my morning off by having breakfast with my little man. He is so sweet in the mornings. Of course he progressively turns in to more and more of a stinker every few minutes! Hes such a boy. Nora is still asleep so it gives me a few minutes to update! Nothing exciting to write about really. It seems like the horrendous heat is starting to break around here and outside is a bit more tolerable. We are for sure looking forward to fall around here! On a side note, Noah's eye looks AMAZING! The staff at Cardinal Glennon are incredible. I could not have  been to a more amazing hospital!Hope everyone has a great day!

the past few weeks!

Wow, the past few weeks have been so crazy busy. Noah turned 3! I debated on weather or not to have a party for him but in the end, decided that birthdays are very special in our house. I love to celebrate the birth of the people I love the most, with the people that I love the most. With that being said, it was time for Noah to have surgery. When he was born, he was diagnosed with a droopy eyelid. Otherwise known as Ptosis. His was purely cosmetic, but we were told that he could have it fixed when he turned 3. So I decided that it would be best to get it done before he started pre school. I am so happy we did it! The surgery was no where near the huge deal I feared it would be. the staff at Cardinal Glennon are INCREDIBLE! Noah did great and his eye looks beautiful! Of course its puff, red, and looks as though it is bruising, but hey, it is beautiful to me! i cannot wait until all of that goes away so that we can get to taking some pictures of his new eyelid! Silly, but it was a big deal to me. On another note, Nora now has two teeth and 3 words; uh-oh, Daa-Dee, and Na -nee! LOVE it! xo
